More Coffee Less Talky

Happy Wednesday! Congrats on making it to the almost half way point...pat yourself on the back after lunch.

I went to my first Holiday party last night. We did a cookie exchange. These were my cookies and they were the bomb. I learned a few things I want to do differently when I make them again, but that's usually what happens with a first time recipe.

We also did a White Elephant gift exchange and the budget was $5. You can't get much with that but I came home with a pretty candle, that I didn't take a pic of (blogger fail) and thankfully someone took pity on me and "stole" the toddler movie that I had originally opened. womp womp. The highlight of the night was when someone had lined a box with red satin panties and it took the girl that opened it awhile to figure out there was something else in there, bwahaha! Classic and I hope you all do that at your next White Elephant exchange.

A coworker saw the 2016 Friends Movie Trailer tease that looks good but also like pieces pulled from other shows and movies. Oh how I wish this were to happen but I will never get my hopes up until A. One of the cast confirms it in a legit interview and/or B. NBC advertises it all over creation.

I found a new thing to listen to on Spotify. I've been listening to Tina Fey on audio book and loving it so I wanted to listen to my favorite comedian, Steven Wright. Well, he has not written a book so I couldn't find him on Overdrive BUT he's all over SPotify holla! Who's your favorite comedian?

This made my day last night when a friend shared this proposed bill to keep Daylight Savings time in Florida on Facebook. I'll take that bill, please!!

  2. I would love to do a cookie exchange-- so fun, and your cookies look so good! White Elephant exchanges are always so funny- a candle is a good thing to end up with :) And ahh a Friends reunion would be amazing, but I think you're right and that is just clips from other shows!

  5. People are pushing hard for FRIENDS to come back, aren't they? I think its fun just to see the parodies that keep coming up. I think if they ever made a real movie, it'd never live up to expectations... I love my FRIENDS :)

Yep - now a bill like that would make me get on the political side

  8. Those cookies look yummy, the second time you make them always come out better. I would totally love a Friends movie but agree will wait for the Network to announce it so I know it's legit.
