VIB Newbie at the VIB Sale

This is my first time being a Sephora VIB and since I've already purchased quite a bit of beauty stuff, my buy list won't be super long. Let's just say this is the list I would LOVE to go home with. I signed up for Flash Shipping, I mean to get it one day quicker for $10 it's totally worth it to me (Amazon has spoiled me) and there's no way I'm making it to VIB Rouge, I just won't let myself spend that much more $$$ this year!

Definite, Yes

This Beauty Fav hand cream is not too expensive and make great gifts for yourself and your mom, or my mom at least.

I have been trying EVERY single dry shampoo out there and while Batiste is my fav out of everything I've tried I've read nothing but good things about this stuff and I need to try it on sale.

I'm still not satisfied with my makeup remover findings and I'm holding out that I can find something cheaper than the Lancome, so this is next on my list to try.

Meh, Maybe

I don't mind the dupe for the Beauty Blender, but there's just something about the BB that is softer, more smooth and actually comes clean more than the dupe. I also love getting it as a set with the cleaner because this cleaning bar is awesome!

In Your Dreams

This multi-branded set is calling my name! It has the BB, a brush and a bajillion other things I haven't tried yet, whee!

Pretty much all of the LARGE sets are not things I really need, but would love to try and that includes the perfume set. I receive samples of these all the time and I love them! I used to be all about my signature scent, but then I missed out on the new ones coming out so I'm currently an equal opportunity supporter and loving it!!

Speaking of things I DON'T need...I have several favorite mascaras that I recommend including UD Perversion, TF Better Than Sex, CK One and L'Oreal Voluminous so I don't really need to try a new one but what if there's another good one?!

Besides all of those mascaras, lol I would definitely rec the MUFE Mat Velvet foundation. Thanks to Nadine for rec'ing this to me because A. it made me start stalking her and B. made me a MUFE fan!

I absolutely love this Too Faced champagne eye shadow primer because it's shimmery and I can swipe it on if I'm in a hurry and just need a little something. It also helps with the eye crease and staying power when I actually use shadows on top of it.

I love these pink combs from Sephora and there's even a mini one for travel or your purse!!

This is my favorite under eye setting powder. Super, super fine and perfect for the under eye. I set it with the beauty blender.

I have tried several primers and this is my favorite primer for makeup staying power and smooth pore-minimizing goodness, you know...all the stuff a primer is supposed to do. My sister said she's able to use less foundation when she uses this primer and just bought another bottle!

This is my favorite moisturizing primer. I can see where the hangover name came from!! I haven't used it enough to see how the makeup staying power is, BUT it definitely adds that extra moisture after I've had a weekend of not enough H2O.

What's on your makeup wish list? Anything you think I should add to my list before tomorrow?

  1. That Sephora Favorites set is literally what my dreams are made of! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I have so many of those combs - the only thing I like to use on my hair.

  3. I haven't even thought about shopping the sale. I wonder what I did with my coupon? I love those combs! I should get an extra.

I need to get cologne for MFD too.

  4. Yay for your first VIB sale, one of my favorite sales of the year! Love your picks and your "in your dreams" section, I need to totally do that because there are total wishlist items on my list as well. That pink comb is fabulous, and I'm always a fan of the Tarte products <3

    Green Fashionista

  5. I love your list!!! I am grabbing the $12 size of the living proof shampoo too. Like you, Batiste is my go to for now but everyone raves about it so I have to check it out for myself. And I am finishing up my MUF right now and the color isn't right for my skin. It is a tad too light right now and I think I am going to try something else this go around. If I hate it, I will trade it in for old faithful. LOL. I have Laura Mercier powder for setting under my eyes that works just like MUF. The container lasts forever. I have had it for like 2 or 3 years. Insanity!

I really want to replace my beauty blender but I just cant justify spending $20 for a sponge. again. LOL! My foundation brushes I have had forever and they wash so nice and they look brand new. I think I am going to try an airbrush this time. Have you tried that? If I hate it...again...I can always go get the beauty blender again.

  6. I feel like I've been waiting for this sale forever, haha. I can't wait to hear what you think of the dry shampoo, I like Batiste, but sometimes the scent is way too overwhelming for me. That too faced primer sounds so good, I've been lazy about using one at all, but it always makes my makeup look better/last longer when I do!

  7. I literally bought the makeup remover two days ago and so far so good. I was expecting it to be quite a bit more oily on my eyes, but it isn't and it does a decent job. I also am eager to see how that dry shampoo is. My hair is naturally wavy/curly but extremely thin, and I haven't found a dry shampoo that really does the job.

  8. I can vouch for that dry shampoo, eye makeup remover and MUFE setting spray! They are all daily uses for me!

  9. This is my first VIB sale too! So excited! And that makeup remover is amazing! Thank you for reminding me I need more! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  10. That Favorites set would be a perfect birthday gift! I have the Makeup Forever HD powder and I really like it.

  11. I use the Mary Kay make up remover and it works well for me... I just buy it online because I don't want to be bothered, lol... That shimmer primer looks cool!! I need to check that out!
