I attended two Halloween events this weekend and I still have at least one more this week, maybe two if I go to a Meetup party by myself.
Friday
When I got home on Friday I really only had about 30 minutes before the Halloween party at our community clubhouse so I did a little bit of reading and grabbed my mail which included my October Owlcrate that I haven't even opened yet!
The party was okay, more for kids and their parents but I got a slice of pizza, tried some punch and a cool bag with candy in it so it wasn't a total bust.
Then I spent the rest of the evening reading and doing some design work so I could play the rest of the weekend!
Saturday
Mom and I headed to Joanns to pick up a few things before we went to a local scrapbook store open house where they have craft projects FREE for customers to make and take home with them. We had a great time and then she dropped me back at my place so I could start getting everything in order for my party that night.I went to the mall to get my nails done because I've been looking for a place close by and they had the best reviews. The service and quality was great, BUT the mall was a mad house! Kids dressed in costume everywhere and there was some kind of health fair I think. Crazy! So not ready to live by the mall for Holiday shopping craziness.
I got partially ready at my place, took my time curling my hair and then made a quick stop to get socks for my doll outfit on the way to my parents house to get my eyes finished. Luckily my sister was there because while I love me some makeup I am pretty much clueless when it comes to a lot of eye makeup. I shared a close up of this pic on Instagram late and wasn't expecting a lot of people to see it, but the late hour didn't matter.

I arrived at the party just in time to fill my plate with goodies and try their special cocktail. They had tons of great food, but my favorite was this pumpkin dip with dried apples and it was in this cute little carved pumpkin!!

Sunday
Sunday Funday, right? Well we had to get ready for the ladies recipe night and we made a stop at the grocery store for stuff to make our recipes and found these yummy Peppermint Drunsticks, sooo good!
Boomer thought they looked good, too...but he wasn't fast enough to try mine.

How was your weekend?!
