Wanderlust Wednesday - Ireland Sightseeing

I'm so excited to link up with Kate for Wanderlust. For one thing, I get to see all the cool places people are going and for another it's giving me the excuse/opportunity to finally share the rest of my Europe pictures. It'll be a year in August and these next few months should lead right up to the one year mark. I can't believe it's been that long and I'm definitely feeling the traveling bug again.

Wanderlust Wednesdays

I thought Ireland could be all one post, but it looks like I can do a separate one for the Guinness factory tour and all the UCF stuff! We did A LOT of walking and exploring in the beautiful countryside between Dublin and the Cliffs of Moher.

Our first stop was of course food, we went for a pastry place since it was morning and coffee with pie for breakfast sounded like a great idea!

Luckily on our way we spotted a castle that others were exploring so we pulled off to the side of the road for a look around.

This was the cute little house on the side of the road we parked by. Just sitting right on a hillside.

We stopped in the town that was across the water and visited a few of the shops. A found something made in Ireland to take home for a friend and I loved seeing all of the colorful buildings and flowers.

You know we had to drive on the other side of the road and the roads could be super narrow. We only had a couple close calls, so it wasn't a bad experience at all. I had some other pictures that I thought I uploaded last night and they're not here...so you'll just have to wait til the next Ireland post!

We finally made it to the Cliffs and it was such a gorgeous day. It ended up raining after we'd been there for a couple hours so I didn't make it to the other side of the cliffs but A did and we both had a great time.

One of the other places we had to visit was Trinity College. They were doing renovations and construction, so some of my pictures were obscured but not bad enough I couldn't get a few great shots.

In Florida we don't have a lot of Rivers that run through cities, so walking from one side to the other and along the river in the middle of town was pretty cool.

One of the last days we were there, we found this BBQ joint that was packed. We got to talk with the waitress and she said they'd spent six months in Texas learning about BBQ. This was also my first and only change for a margarita and I was happy!

Next month I'm planning on sharing our Guinness Tour experience.
