Funday Monday

First of all, HUGE typo from me Friday.

I went to see Eric Church Saturday, not Kenny. I'll be seeing Kenny in June!!!!

Eric church is a phenomenal performer. Probably my favorite act to see live, right up there with Kenny. He just puts on such a great show, always something different. This time he performed for about two hours and twenty minutes!!

We were in an indoor arena/hockey rink so it was temp controlled which was nice, especially since Florida had a cold spell over the weekend that we are still feeling, but I get to wear jackets and scarves without sweating off my makeup!!

We've had the stomach flu/Influenza A going around the office and I'm so paranoid I'm going to end up with that too. Pray for me since I just don't handle puking well. Each night when I go to bed I'm thankful for another day of not getting sick.

Sunday S and I headed to Frenchy's on Clearwater beach for an early lunch, caught a matinee of Insurgent and instead of going to another favorite place to eat, I got Sarah hooked on binge watching Sons of Anarchy!!!

We watched like 6-7 episodes and she's now able to talk all things MC. *check*

Insurgent was very good. I loved Divergent so much that I went ahead and read the book after watching the movie. This one, I'm not going to do that just because I know something happens in the third book that a lot of people didn't like so I'll just leave everything to first time viewing pleasure when that movie comes out.

I also got my #instaEastreBasket sent out and can't wait to hear if my girl loves it!

What did you get up to this weekend?

Linking up for weekending with B Loved Boston and Champagne and Suburbs.

  1. Glad you had a great time at the concert, I bet he is amazing live. Fingers crossed you don't get the flu going around, it was brutal. I am still so sad that Sons of Anarchy is over. :(

  3. Concerts are so fun! Especially when the performer is amazing! I want to see Insurgent so bad! Maybe I'll try to go this weekend. I read the first two books and didn't read the 3rd for the same reason most people didn't like it. I kinda don't wanna know how it ends. lol

  4. Eric Church was here last week and I heard the show was awesome, Super jealous. Also, I loved all the Divergent books. I don't think it would ruin anything! I didn't mind the ending so much.

  8. I hope you dont catch the flu. That would suck! Fingers crossed you stay healthy. I'm glad you posted that about reading the book bc I have only seen the movies in this series and I was thinking of going back and reading all the books in anticipation of the third movie. Maybe now I will skip it.

  9. That concert sounds awesome!!! Good luck on not catching the crud! My husband came home sick with it two weeks ago and I think I fought it off pretty well without getting sick. Hopefully you can do the same! Have a great week!

  10. Friends of mine went to Eric Church this weekend too, and the show looked amazing!

And stomach bugs are the WORST! Just keep popping vitamins, and wash your hands/use hand sanitzer diligently especially after leaving your desk and touching community things like doorknobs/the fridge in the breakroom/ etc... *fingers crossed* for you gurlie ;-)

  11. First off, I stopped by because of your first gif - I LOVE Men in Tights hahaha. I'm super jealous you got to see Eric Church, he was here a couple months ago and I was too cheap to shell out for tickets. Glad it was a good show!

  14. Concerts are always so fun. Getting sick is never fun. Hope you don't get sick. It's the worse when it is going around the office.
