Freakin' Florida Road Trip Weekend

Friday started with a couple of firsts for me.

First fitness class with Classpass. The process was seamless, and even though I only just signed up I really like all that Classpass has to offer.

First Yoga class. I was a little sore Saturday night, but other than that I really enjoyed it. I went to an end of the week de-stress session and I'm looking forward to doing it again!

Saturday morning I met S at her house around 8 am so we could get on the road to Jax. Our main goal was apartment hunting, but she was also helping me cross a few things off my 30 Before 30 list, like road trip with no plans and something that wasn't on my list but should have been.

I'm a fan of starting out a road trip with Starbucks and good music. I ordered the Kenny cd so we could get in the mood for the concert we just bought tickets for!

About half way into our trip she let me know what her thoughts were and I loved the idea! I had always wanted to wake up to the sunrise on one coast and then be on the other Florida coast to see it set. It was AWESOME! There were clouds, but it was still so gorgeous.

Saturday after we were doing touring the apartments, we were trying to find a place to eat and most were places I knew we had back home. When I mentioned Ale House, she said we have one in St. Pete (when do I ever make it down there to eat?) but said she'd love to have some of their chicken nachos. Those were YUM! I tried the Zingers Platter with chicken strips and loaded fries. OMG I would drive to St. Pete for that meal again. I definitely overdid it, but worth it.

When we were touring the apartments we also saw all of their leasing office areas and two of them had gorgeous decorating.

I've been checking at grocery stores and Target whenever I stop in and had not found the Red Velvet Oreo's until Saturday so I can't wait to try these after my workout this morning!

On our way out of town we drove by the Daytona Speedway which will be the busiest place next weekend, but was rather calm Sunday.

I'm off to another class this morning, this one is cardio/strength and with each new class I'm nervous, lol.

Tomorrow I'm linking up with Steph for my monthly book linkup, Wednesday I'm planning on sharing some beauty products I just can't live without and maybe doing a video, Thursday it's all about the food I ate in Europe and Friday will of course be a favs link up!!

How was your weekend? What are you looking forward to this week?!

Linking up for weekending with B Loved Boston and Champagne and Suburbs.
