Freakin' Fifty Weekend

It's the Monday I have to work and I was up SUPER late last night finishing important things like this blog post.

I got a couple of things crossed off my list like ordering blog specific business cards and my taxes, yay! I made the mistake of trying to order blog/business cards all in one and now I'm just not loving it so I decided just to order a limited QTY for the Blog class I'm attending in TWO weeks!!

Mug Swap reveal - It's been a little while since I've done a swap. I used to do them all the time and you can check out those posts here. I got paired up with Erica and she sent me a travel tea mug!! I usually wait to drink my tea until I'm at work, but this is the perfect excuse to have my caffeine early.

In case you were wondering where my love of tea cam from, I gave up coffee in January because I can't drink it black. I must have milk and sugar of some sort. So not only am I lowering my caffeine amount, I'm saving calories!!

I've got my mug all set up to take this morning so I'm excited to try it out!

Friday night I celebrated Valentine's Day or Galentine's Day by having a super rich peppermint mocha mudslide! Isn't my heart straw cute? Thanks mom!

Saturday morning the parents decided they were frying eggs. I'm still very picky about how I'll eat my eggs so that meant a sandwich for me. So yum!

I finally got around to posting my FIFTY blog post ideas in honor of Fifty Shades!

FIFTY

All. The. Feeeeeeels. I think Dakota was stellar and since I've only read the book once I really didn't remember a lot of what happened in the first book so I was surprised at the end. I was expecting that part a lot sooner and then it just ended. Cliffhanger. Bummer.

I was supposed to go see the movie with S, but she had to work so I still went by myself and because I had actually purchased two tickets I didn't feel bad about having an empty seat on either side of me.

We're still planning on seeing it together, and this was our text right after the movie

I wrote that first part Saturday and then Sunday S asked me if I wanted to go ahead and see it that night. Of course! Second time wasn't as emotional. I was more prepared for the scenes, obviously. I also had a dude sitting next to me with his GF so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it or not.

I was actually kind of shocked at how much boobage there was. Like there could have been closer cropping after the first few shots. We know she has them and now I sound like a prude that went to see it, lol. I'm not!

The guy sitting next to me even commented about how she'd already been naked 10 times.

I recorded myself opening my Popsugar Must Have box and they got another thumbs up from this girl. Let's hope they keep this up!

If you're interested in seeing other videos I upload I'd love for you to subscribe to my channel. In case you can't/don't want to watch it here's what I got in the box.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's all for now!!

How was your weekend? Oh! I bought the Fifty soundtrack because some of the songs were so fitting to the movie and those usually make the best soundtracks. Loving it!

Linking up for weekending with B Loved Boston and Champagne and Suburbs.

  1. I like the idea for the to-go tea. I am glad the movie lived up to the book, even if it was ended on a cliff hanger. The heart shaped cutting board is really cute.

  7. That tea infuser mug is so nice! I usually don't ever drink tea when I'm out because it's too expensive to buy at Starbucks, but a mug like that would be perfect! Your breakfast sandwich looks so good! I had no idea you had a Youtube- I loved the video and your reaction to the gold necklace was too cute! haha
