I'm still learning what I like for makeup, foundations, blushes, etc. but one of the things I'm pretty set on and sure about are all of the things I use to get my face ready to receive all of the makeup I put on it.
Don't forget I have a really AWESOME giveaway going on for a Veet® Infini’Silk™ PRO so get entered!!
TJ Face Wash | TJ Coconut Oil | Witch Hazel Toner | Dermadoctor SPF Moisturizer | Primer | Eyelash Curler | Powder Brush | Blush Brush | UD Finish Spray | MAC Fix+
This Trader Joe's Nourish face wash was a total surprise. I was looking for something that would get all of my makeup off and not dry out my face like the Clinique I was using. This was cheap enough I thought I could try it and see how I liked it. It's been my nightly face wash SINCE.
Trader Joe's coconut oil could end up curing a disease one day, I'm pretty sure. I've seen it do wonders for hair, skin, nails, you have an ailment you should try some TJ's coconut oil. I keep one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen to cook with.
I've always loved using toners because they leave that tingling feeling after you've wiped them on your face. When I was seeing a Dermatologist and an Aestetician about my skin I found out some of the products I was using previously were drying my face out.
Dermadoctor SPF 30 moisturizer is one of the products I tried when my acne was at its worst! I don't think it helped with the acne, but it's really helped with controlling the oil on my face!
I've tried SEVERAL primers and for the most part all of them have "worked" the same. This one and Cover FX are my favorite. Do you have one I should try next?
Since I don't always wear eye makeup, or hardly ever really; I still want my eye lashes to stand out and I feel like they look their "best" when they've got some curl going on.
The teddy bear hair brushes from Too Faced are sooooo soft. Seriously. You must run to Ulta or Sephora to try them right now, although when I was walking around Ulta I couldn't find them last time!
I've only just started using the Real Techniques Blush Brush, like twice, but so far I really like how I can just do one or two sweeps per cheek and it's a nice line of blush!
I wear foundation, and am always afraid of wiping off my face on someone's jacket or shirt when they hug me. I thought Urban Decay's was THE BOMB, and then I realized it still wasn't working as well as I'd like to I just got the MAC Fix+ Monday and I'll be trying that out.
Make sure to check out my makeup brush cleaner recipe if your brushes are in need of a good cleaning like mine are.
I did make a video to go with this, but I'm still learning how to do that so hopefully I'll have that figured out this weekend so I can share it with ya'll.
