Drink Recipe: Peppermint Mocha Mudslide

One of my favorite things about Christmas season is all of the Peppermint that comes out. Oreo has their Limited Edition Candy Cane or Peppermint cookies. This year they're the bite size ones and we're almost through box one.

Starbucks has my ultimate drink Peppermint Mocha *salivates* and last year I came across the Peppermint Mocha Kahlua Liqueur. I polished off at least one bottle between a few parties and had to buy an extra one just in case I got a hankering during the rest of the year.

Peppermint Mocha Mudslide

Ingredients

3 Scoops Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt
1/2 C. Milk or more for preference
2-4 T. Peppermint Mocha Kahlua
2-3 T. Chocolate Syrup

Optional:
Whip Cream
Candy Cane Oreos Crumbled on Top

Steps

Since I use our single serve Magic Bullet, I do one drink at a time. Put three scoops of Ice Cream, I prefer the "old fashion" style into your cup or blender. Add the 1/2 C. of milk more or less depending on how thick you prefer your shake. I just eyeball the Kahlua and the chocolate syrup ad I dump them in. Blend it all together and you're ready to serve! Top with whip cream and/or crumbled Oreos.
