Pumpkin Carving Fun

Happy Fall!

Yeah, Fall has been happening for a month now and it's been pretty great for me. Notice how I didn't say cool? Well it's still in the 80's every day in Florida, so no sweaters, scarves or boots for me yet! Fall comes with some of my favorite things and that includes Halloween and carving pumpkins.

I'm not a lover of all things #PSL. Pumpkin Spice Latte if you haven't heard the acronym used, have you BEEN to Starbucks this month? I'm picky about my pumpkin consumption. Seeds, pie, carving are my thing and I've thought about trying a pumpkin face mask as well. I hear it has lots of benefits.

So pumpkin carving is something I haven't done in a few years. I'm not one to get dirty so my pumpkin carving must involve long sleeves and a glove along with your standard carving "kit". I'm pretty sure you've never carved pumpkins quite like I have, making the eww face whenever you pull out your stringy insides littered with seeds.

It's just something you have to do if you want to carve pumpkins and you're too old to have someone else clean out the guts for you. Yep, as a kid my parents would clean out the guts for me and I didn't have to touch them.

So, let's look at our creative carving skills, shall we?

We actually had to run to the local CVS out on the beach for candles and shockingly they didn't have any. Nothing Halloween, or even for hurricane preparedness. I suppose if there's a hurricane you would evacuate the beach but I would think tealight candles would be standard thing to carry. Anyway, we ended up getting regular smell good candles, lol.

Any guesses which one is mine? Just a little guessing fun!
Sadly mine has already been destroyed by the moldy gods. Thanks to the humidity in Florida, you can't do it so far before Halloween and expect it to last. I really wanted to do a sparkly one or a lacy one like the ones I found on Pinterest below so I still may do another one or two!

Have you carved pumpkins yet? Planning another form of pumpkin fun?

I'm linking up with some fun girls today!
