Weekly Goals - A Successful 5K

If you follow me on twitter, you might have seen that I signed up for my 1st 5K!!!


While this is definitely exciting, I'm such a newbie, even to running still that I have a lot to learn. In lieu of this new adventure, I wanted to see about setting some weekly goals to help me succeed!

This Week My Goals Are:


1. Run 5/7 Days
I'll be using the C25K app to start off with, even though I have a little less than SIX weeks to get ready.
2. Cut out Soda
I've done this before, so I know I can do it! I generally only have a few a week if any but cold turkey really is the way to go for me.
3. Develop a routine.
This is something I haven't done since college, probably. The only thing I've had to focus on the last year was work and now that I have that routine, I need to start setting a routine for the rest of my life instead of being so willy nilly.
4. Go to bed by 10:00 pm in preparation for an earlier time next week.
I actually did this last night and I felt so good, lol. Not that I woke up super refreshed, but I'm hoping by moving it earlier I will start to wake up without feeling tired. This will go along real well with the routine!
