First real piece of jewelry

The first piece I remember giving a hoots about was this dainty little cross ring with a few hearts on it. Silver. Pretty. Simple. Me. It was a gift from my parents, the only thing I wanted that year for my birthday and who knew not even a year later it would be *gasp* stolen! So, then obviously I wanted it again for Christmas. :) I tried to find it to show you guys, but I think it's packed away with all my other memory'ish type stuff. Class ring anybody?!

First magazine subscription

First Subscription was probably Teen Beat or something along those lines. There were sooo many! If I remember correctly, this was one that had those pull out posters with all the cute movie stars...since that was before I was into music and their lead singers, haha!

This edition was probably a little before my time...I remember JTT and J. Jackson (Lucky from GH) being on the cover of one. *swoon* Could it be this is where my subscription addiction started?

First time staying home alone

Okay, I don't actually remember the first time I stayed home alone but I do remember when my mom went back to work...just up the street from our house. *rolls eyes* This was the summer after 5th grade and also the first time I gained a significant amount of weight. Thanks mom. I could wake up whenever I wanted, eat what I wanted for TWO whole meals and this mostly consisted of sweets for breakfast, followed by Ramen Noodles for lunch. The whole freaking package! Bad Habits formed early unfortunately.

  1. Man those magazines really were the jam back in the day! I loved finding the ones with the posters in them! I was obsessed with N'Sync and JTT, of course, so those were always my favorites! Glad you joined in and linked up with us this week :)

  2. Oh man! I was obsessed with NKOTB back in the day. Those were the posters on my walls. I totally thought Jonathan Brandis was HOT HOT HOT back in the day!
